The tour starts with pick-up from your hotel between 4:30 and 5:00 am. We travel for about 2 hours to the quiet town of Mollepata located northwest of Cusco, where we will stop for breakfast and then continue to the Soraypampa Valley. After a short rest, we start the hike towards the famous lagoon, enjoying great views of the majestic Humantay snowscape (4,200 m.s.n.m.) along the way. We arrive at the charming Humantay Lagoon in an hour and a half to two hours, depending on the pace of the walk. On the shores of the lagoon, the tranquility of its waters and the impressive views of the snow-capped mountains lend themselves to an extraordinary experience. We will also see the well-known Nevado Salkantay at the bottom of the valley, both on the way out and on the way back. Finally, we will return to Mollepata to have lunch, rest a bit, and take many photos before returning to Cusco. Arrival in Cusco around 18:00 pm.
